This wine is produced 100% from Merlot grapes. After a long period of fermentation – 15 days and more – it ages in chestnut barrels according to the local tradition for a period of 24 – 36 months. After being bottled, it gradually reaches its final refinement.
This full-bodied wine fits perfectly to grilled meat such as beef and pork, cold cuts, dishes of venison and well-matured cheese.
In order to fully enjoy the taste of this Merlot, uncork the bottle, decant the wine and let it rest for some time at room temperature (approximately 18˚) before serving.
