Something you do not find often - liquor of sweet chestnuts from the Garfagnana forests in the Lucca province. In Tuscany, there are many forests of sweet chestnut, especially in the mountains in the north of Lucca - Garfagnana from where also the famous Sweet Chestnut Flour is coming. For this liquor, the sweet chestnuts are dried according to old traditions. Then a liquor is produced from the extract of the dried sweet chestnuts which has a wonderful taste of this fruit. For tasting this specialty we sell also small bottles of 0,1 l, 0,2 l and 0,5 l under the name "La Castagna".
