Nardini Liquori is a small producer of grappa (pomace brandy), liquors and syrups in the north of the Lucca province ... in Garfagnana. The family-run company was founded in 1880. The family has always given a higher priority to quality instead of quantity. Nardini uses only the best ingredients to create its products.
The most famous product - well known as the best "correction of coffee" ... at least in Tuscany - is the LEONE 70 with 70% of alcohol which is a must-have in every bar in Tuscany as it makes our of a strong espresso coffee the Tuscan punch which a real Tuscan even drinks in the morning. Beside this, Nardini has always had a huge portfolio of alcoholic and non-alcoholic specialties including an impressive line of grappa and a line of liquors with ingredients from the forests of Garfagnana, the so-called "Profumi e Sapori del Bosco" (aromes and tastes from the forest), with rawsberries, blueberries, blackberries, cherries, walnuts and chestnuts. Chestnuts form the basis for a real rarity ... the Grand Marrons or Castagna chestnut liquor.
